Excellence in Human Performance
Roan Crocker is a Strength and Conditioning coach from Swansea, Wales.
Roan started his journey into human performance through competing in mixed martial arts. After conducting some tough weight cuts Roan knew that there must be a more scientific way to cut weight and maximise his performance in competition.
This led to Roan becoming increasingly more interested in maximising human performance through nutrition and strength and conditioning protocols. At age 19 Roan began studying a bachelor of science degree in strength and conditioning and graduated with a first class honours in 2022, he is now a masters student graduating in 2023.
Over the course of his studies he has completed internships at elite organisations including:
Cardiff City Football Academy
Roan then started coaching strength and conditioning to athletes and generalists forming Crock Performance, so far he has worked with athletes competing in Cage Warriors, Bellator, and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Outside of coaching, Roan is an active mixed martial arts fighter with a record of 16-3, a 3x British jiujitsu champion, BJJ brown belt, IMMAF World Championships Silver Medalist & Jr European Champion, Four Nations Champion, and Cage Warriors Academy Two Weight Division Champion.

Sports massage is focused and systematic, targeting muscles that are used in a specific sport. It uses various techniques to decrease muscle pain and improve recovery, as well as improve overall range of motion and flexibility to support safe and effective movement.
Roan is a qualified sports massage therapist and while sports massage is often sought by elite and amateur athletes, sports massage can also be beneficial for anyone who regularly exercises.

Yes, with experience working with elite performers in rugby, football and gymnastics. We can support a wide variety of competitors and non-competitors alike.

No, quite the opposite. If you are a beginner in any aspect of training, we can coach you to a high standard, all you have to do is turn up, train hard and we will do the rest.
I had spinal and neurosurgery many years ago which prevented me from doing any strenuous exercise, due to this, I found my weight spiralling to the point where it was affecting my health.
On the first of January 2021, I made the decision to change my lifestyle, I discussed my situation with Roan, and set my goals for forthcoming months to lose weight and improve my health and well-being. Due to my physical difficulties exercise was not possible.
After a consultation with Roan, I enrolled in a nutrition coaching programme, which would enable me to lose weight without any exercise. The programme involved calorie tracking and education of my food choices, whilst still enjoying my favourite foods and without feeling hungry.
ln 4 months I achieved a weight loss of 28lbs and for the past 2 months I have successfully maintained this loss. Due to this weight loss, my golfing performance has increased, my balance and swing has improved and my distance has increased.
Roan was a great help throughout the process, an excellent mentor. constantly on hand to answer any queries that I had, and providing easy to understand guidance. If there’s anybody out there who finds themselves in a similar situation as myself, Roan can and will be able to help you achieve what you may think is impossible.
